A YouthLink participation guide: choose an opportunity that fits your goals

Understand YouthLink’s audience and opportunities, then choose exchanges, learning or volunteering that fit your own goals.

Check both network and programme requirements

YouthLink is an initiative under the Youth Development Blueprint, offering learning, visits, exchanges and volunteering opportunities. The official page welcomes people aged 12–39 who have taken part in government-organised or funded activities, with registration through HKYouth+. Individual programmes have their own requirements. This is a resource guide, not a new recruitment announcement.

Our practical suggestions

Start with one learning goal

Our suggestion: decide whether you want to understand an industry, practise speaking or contribute to community service. Compare programme content and time commitments against that goal. Afterwards, record what you learned and one action to try.

  • What can you learn or practise?
  • Can you commit the time and fulfil the responsibilities?
  • What could you share with colleagues, members or service partners?

Keep practising through chapter activities

Explore Queensway’s Leadership Development activities to practise communication, coordination and leadership in real projects. YouthLink is an official programme; joining JCI Queensway is a separate process.
