Equal Opportunity Youth Ambassadors 2026/27: apply by 17 November
The EOC scheme welcomes free, individual applications from full-time tertiary students. Submit an article or video on equal opportunities; selected ambassadors join experiential learning and promotional activities in 2027.

Who can apply, and what should you prepare?
The Equal Opportunities Commission announced applications for its Equal Opportunity Youth Ambassador Scheme 2026/27 on 20 October 2026. Full-time students taking diploma courses or above at any Hong Kong tertiary institution may apply individually, free of charge. Use the official online form and submit either a 300–600-word article or a 2–5-minute video expressing your views on equal opportunities, in Chinese or English. Check the form for full submission requirements. Applications close on Tuesday, 17 November 2026; the official page gives no closing time, so submit early. Assessment runs from mid-November to December. Additional information or an interview may be required. Results will be emailed by late December, and selected applicants must confirm participation by the specified deadline. Experiential learning runs from January to May 2027, followed by a recognition ceremony in June. Ambassadors are expected to participate actively, including in promotional activities.
Our practical suggestions
Queensway suggests: start with an everyday barrier
Look for one specific barrier to participation on campus or in your community: for example, whether event information is easy to understand or a venue works for people with different needs. Listen to those affected and seek consent before using personal stories or images. Connect your observation, its impact and one practical improvement; a concrete example explains your thinking better than slogans. Check your study and activity commitments for the coming year too.
- Am I studying full-time for a diploma or above at a Hong Kong tertiary institution?
- Can my article or video use one concrete example to explain a barrier to equal participation and a possible improvement?
- Can I reserve time for activities from January to May 2027 and monitor my email and acceptance deadline?
Bring inclusion insights into community service
Share your observations in Queensway’s Community Development exchanges and discuss how service design can accommodate different needs. Apply directly under the EOC’s official instructions. Queensway does not organise or select for this scheme, handle applications or guarantee admission.
